Chesney and Year 3!

Chesney, this year has flown by so fast that I couldn't keep up. You have learned so many things this year and you have gone through many changes. I cannot believe you are about to be 4 in a couple of weeks! You are sweet and sassy. Full of spark and spunk. You make me laugh until I cry. I love how you always want to snuggle. You love to give kisses and hugs! You love spending time with your Papa outside. You have filled my heart with so much love and joy! I love you sweetheart, my baby girl!

Sassy Pants

At 3 Chesney is a Royal Sassy Pants and Ruler of the Roost! I have created a monster for sure. My bright blue eyed, sweet baby girl is not such a baby anymore. She has gained quite an independence since last year. She still has her Bebe and Papa wrapped tightly around her finger and they love any time that they get to spend with her. She loves watching NickJr. and cannot get enough of it! We have already been swimming this year and she is a real fish. Swimming only with her floaties, she goes any where. I cannot believe how much she has grown in the last year.

2 YEAR MILESTONES

At 2 you are very independent. You are learning new things every day.

*You have successfully changed Gramps name to Papa! But it is so cute! Guess that's what he will be.

*You recognize many colors. Pink is your favorite and Yellow is a close second.

*You know when someone has a hurt or a booboo you can wipe it away with a kiss.

*You love dolls and that hasn't changed since you were a tiny little thing.

*You can count to 10 in English and Spanish with prompting and a little assistance.

*Your favorite movie is "Barnyard", but you call it "Cow".

*You ask for night night when you are tired!

*You have to give everyone a kiss before bed. I love that, priceless in my book!

*You pretend to eat your play food and you make us delicious things to eat.

*You love to sing, dance, and jump.

*You love to shop and talk on the phone. (I wonder where you get that)

*You love your friends at daycare.

Chesney is 2!

We made barnyard cupcakes for the special day! I think they turned out great! (Even if I do say so myself!)

Chesney, I cannot believe that our sweet baby girl is 2! It seems like just yesterday that you were born and I was holding you in my arms all the time. Now you are an independent spirit and growing before my very eyes. You have blessed momma and daddys life with more joy and love than we could have ever imagined. We thank GOD everyday for giving us you...our miracle. We love you so much and look forward to watching you grow for many, many, many more years.

Chesney 2 Years.....

We are getting ready for Chesney's 2nd Birthday and so we decided it was a good time to take some "BIG GIRL" photos to commemorate the occasion.......

22 Months.....

I saw a post and thought that this was a good idea so I am taking a que from her......

Chesney Jolin 22 month stats:

Clothes: 18 months (some 12 month)
Shoes: 4 (some 5)
Diaper: 4 (she is 75% potty trained)
Teeth: A mouthful
1 nap in the afternoon
Small appetite: Loves her juice, hotdogs, ham, cookies, fruit and chips
Shows: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Choo Choo soul 
Some of her favorites:
"The Grinch", "Cars", riding her horse, talking on the phone, teasing her dog and LOVES her friends. Has to have a baby doll and a blanket almost all the time.
She has a full vocabulary and repeats everything. Tests us to the limits to see if we really mean the word "NO"...and we do!

WELLLL......

I am not real good at keeping up with this, but I will try a little harder so that some of my people will be happy. Chesney is almost 22 months and I can hardly believe it. It seems like yesterday. Approaching 2 has been challenging at times, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.  Chesney now has a full vocabulary and likes to talk all the time. She plays with baby dolls and loves her blankets. She is a picky eater (mom says that she is just like me......). She loves dotdogs (hotdogs) and hamburbers (hamburgers) and you can never go wrong with a cook (cookie). She has also taken up an obsession with "The Grinch." We have successfully watched it over 100 times. NOT JOKING!!! And that may still be an understatement.  We have redone her room so that she can have a "Big Girl" room and have converted her bed to a toddler bed, she loves it so much! It makes me a little sad that she is growing up so fast.
